TOM HOLLENDEN

Tom has been a musician since the age of 12. He has spent his life working

in the music business in multiple fields including: musician, artist management,

engineer, producer, session player, and booking agent.

As a seasoned musician, Tom has played in various bands throughout the years,

and continues to do session work at this and other studios.

Tom's earliest engineering experiences were running live sound for large concert venues

and he still gets contracted to run the sound systems for various area music festivals

from time to time.

His own frustrations and the frustrations of other fellow musicians over the lack of

professional quality, affordable recording services in the tri-state area, prompted Tom

to start AKA Recording in 1988.

As producer/engineer, Tom offers his 30+ years of experience in the audio recording

field to help artists translate their musical style and vision into a professionally produced

final product.

Because Tom is also an experienced musician/session player, he has the advantage of

seeing a project from the musician's perspective as well as from the viewpoint of a

producer and engineer.

Tom has engineered and produced everything from commercial and radio work to all

genres of music, and has worked with everyone from singer/songwriters, bands, and rappers

to full orchestras and choral groups. Having so many years of experience makes a difference

when it comes to receiving optimal recording and production quality.
